Help I need advice quick!.
All our current work has been MS Access 2000/ ASP based and we are now 
ready
to develop our www web site using web hosting. This means choosing 
between
Windows 2000 ( MS Access/MDE/SQL/ASP programming)or Unix platform
(MySQL/PHP/CGI programming).
I believe MS is the way ahead but external consultants are saying that 
MS is
much less secure and is unreliable. They say PHP is 'encrypted' and ASP
isn't. Their own house is Unix based so do have a bias and may be 
looking
for future work.
However, I still need to come up with solid arguments for and against.

Hopefully you experienced guys and gals can give be a balanced view.
