Hello All,

I'm a grad having one of those really annoying problems, when I link to a 
word or exel document opening in a new window. Amsgbox apears saying 
Please enter your authentication information. When the cancel button is 
pressed it disapears, it only happens on word and exel documents, e.g. not 
word powerpoint or text docs

I'm running IIS on win 2000 have given Eveyrone and IUSR full control over 
the folder (for testing).

can any help or point me in the wright direction PLEASE??  

You may want to check the file permissions on the documents. Although you 
have checked the folder permissions, the files themselves may have 
permission issues.
