asp_ado_rds thread: permissions in w2k

I can't get RDS working on a w2k server. I set all the permissions on the
MSADC virtual folder as recommanded by Microsoft (I read all the articles
in the knowledge base). The RDSServer.Datafactory has a key in the
registry and I'm still getting the message that the server denies
access ...etc etc. when I try to get a recordset from a SQL server through
the RDSServer.Datafactory. Has anybody got a clue?
Regards,
Gerhard Wentink

Check your IP permissions, be sure to allow all IP's access not just that
server.

All Ip adresses are granted access. That was the first thing I checked.
Nevertheless the server denies access
