I am working on web based workflow application with e-mails for 

notification. I installed free SMTP server, in NT option pack, on a 

separate machine. I used ASP script to send the mail. Since we have Proxy 

server I installed proxy clients for Web proxy and Winsock. When I send a 

mail to myself 'c.rao@c...' I am getting the following error message.

"Connection to cgiar.org failed. No IP address found from raonttest 

-172.16.21.250 c.rao@c... Server received Winsock error Host not 

found"

Surprisingly I could send the mail from my machine RAONTTEST 

(172.16.21.250) with telnet to 192.156.137.15 which is our exchange hub 

geographically away. Our exchange server is on a separate machine and is 

directly connected to the exchange hub with two NICs. We are using MS proxy 

server 2 with SP1 and NT4 with SP5.

I will be grateful to you if you can kindly help me in resolving this 

problem.
