asp_cdo thread: IIS, Exchange on different machnes not working properly

I have installed IIS and Exchange on different machines and copied
CDO.DLL,GAPI32.DLL, MAPI32.DLL onto the IIS Server and have registered
successfully through regsvr32
but my code is not working properly it is the same code which was working
when IIS and exchange were on same system
i have checked the profile info for creating the dynamic profile
ity is also fine
It gives me MAPI_E_NOTFOUND error
can any body trow some light towards it

Maybe it has nothing todo with it.. but i had icq2000a installed on my
machine and i got the same error's i had to install the whole os again (nt,
iis exchange, servicepacks, visual studio, bla bla..) exept icq, then
everything worked fine...
AGAIN it is possible that that has nothing todo with it.. i just tried it
out because everytime icq was installed nothing worked.. and now i have no
problems at all..

I have created a domain in which one is PDC and is also an IIS Web Server
and in the same domain i have got exchange server which is a standalone
server.
first i tried the same settings and trie to run but it did not run properly
as error stated below then i installed MS outlook 2000 on IIS then it is
running properly
i am unable to understand why ie i do not know what outlook has done so that
the ASP is running now
seems wierd but true

Anil, do u know that Microsoft recommends the use of IIS and exchange server
on the same system??? It is what I heard so while designing a project using
IIS and Exchange. To double check the same I advice you to look into the
knowledge base of Microsoft site so that u can be sure about it.

It might be beacuause of the fact that Colloboration Data Objects are not
installed on IIS. Check uninstalling outlook and copy the necessary files to
IIS machine and try. It may work..

Do you use CDO, and have you installed SMTP service with IIS?
The installable component CDO for NTS has diffirent function calls from
MAPI.
