Hi, I would like to know whether it is possible to to send emails without
using Exchange Server. I have Windows 2OO0 professional on my machine but
I don't have Exchange Server. I heard it is possible to send mails through
the SMPT Virtual Server under IIS. But I don't know how to configure it.
Every time i am sending a mail from my ASP application, the mail gets
stored in the mailroot\queue folder. It doesn't get actually mailed.
Can you tell me how i can configure the SMTP Virtual Server to send mails
if it is possible. The only information that i have is the url of incoming
mail(POP3) and the url of the outgoing mail(SMTP).
I really need to know this.
Thank you so much.
Bye
Saumendra(Sam)
