Well my idea seems to take you off this list but i suggest IMail server for

this. You get an unlimited license for about $1500. It has a web interface

already all you need to do is create the user signup forms which can be

purchased for about $49 or you can use the one I created already for free

install outlook web access from the exchange server CD (well it was on

exchange 5.5, they must offer something similar with exchange 2000). Its a

web application that provides the complete functionality of Microsoft

Outlook through the browser. You can change the stylesheet and images so it

looks like the rest of your site, but it is a very complex application, so I

wouldn't advise any more than superficial cosmetic customisation. But at

least you can take it apart and see how it works if you want to write your

own one.

Hi

When I'm out & about I use CWMail. The version I use can be found at http://quickmail.4thwave.co.uk.

As you will see they place a link to their site in the bottom of the mail, but

it's a free service and works very well.

I believe that CWmail can be purchased and run on your own server - look through

the docs on the web site.
