asp_cdo thread: Cannot receive mail on local machine

Hello
I am having a problem in that I cannot receive mail. If I am on the
network with xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx and try to send a mail to say
johhsmith@x... nothing appears in my drop folder. Can anyone
point out whats wrong and how I can receive mail with CDO for Windows 2000
or CDONTS. I am using Windows 2000 Pro and have only setup a local SMTP
server say "INP"

When messages has heading errors they go into the badmail folder.
Look there to review the header of it.
