asp_cdo thread: Unable to send mails on the Internet.

Message #1 by "Krishna K Khatri" <zipcn046@i...> on Thu, 16 Aug 2001 08:07:03
I have got an IP Address from my ISP. And I am able to host my files on

that Address. I have also successfully configured SMTP Server on it. In

the SMTP Server settings I specified the IP Address I received from ISP.

My problem is this, that I am using CDONTS for sending E-mails from my web

page. My mail is successfully created and the "Sent Message Confirmation"

is displayed on the screen, after sending the mail. But all my mails go to

the \\Mailroot\Badmail directory.

Please send me a solution at the earliest.......

Regards,

Krishna K Khatri

No I haven't specified the From address. But will it cause my mails to

stop delivering? BTW I am trying to give it a From address and again doing

it. Pl. clarify it more.....

CDONTS will not send a message without a valid From or Reply-to address.
