Win 2k Advanced Server is running in my machine. My machine is connected 

to our Intranet. We have one corporate mail server with which we receive 

mails (even your reply) located somewhere else. I'm a normal user running 

a normal PC. IIS5.0 by default is running in machine. For our Corporate 

friends I recently hosted one Web Site with my IIS5.0 as Web Server. 



Now, I want to add one mailing component with which I could send mails to 

the visitors. I tried using CDONTS. But, it is not sending mails. It is 

not even giving any errors with respect to creation of CDONTS object. But 

it created a .eml file in mailroot/queue folder.



I feel some configuration is required in DefaultSMTP Server running in the 

machine. 



Can anyone help me with the solution.



Remember, my machine is a normal Intranet PC, no way connected to Exchange 

Server running in totally different PC.
