asp_cdo thread: CDONTS & Win Xp Pro

Hi,
I have installed IIS 5.1 on my win xp pro. I dont think that cdonts comes
with it, where can I get the CDONTS component and how do install it?

CDONTS only ships with:
- Windows NT 4 Server Option Pack
- Windows 2000 Server
- Windows 2000 Advanced Server
- Windows 2000 Professional
It has been superseded over two years ago with the release of CDOSYS
(CDO for Windows 2000) and is only part of the Windows 2000 family for
backwards compatibility.
CDOSYS ships with any version of Windows 2000, Windows .NET Server and
Windows XP Professional and is the recommended API if you want to write
applications interfacing with SMTP mail.
There is no legit way to get and install it on Windows XP or Windows
.NET Server. You can try to find a copy on a machine running one of the
above mentioned OS's but as I already mentioned, this is illegal and
violates law.

Sorry Friend but not "try on" WindwosXP still.
But I know that: the dinamic library (CDONTS.dll) install in the system
(WindowsNT4.0 to example) when you install the IIS (4.0 to example) but in
Windows2000 (Server, Advanced Server, Professional) the dll maybe install
when you install the system.
but...
Why do you think this dll not exist in your machine?
