Assuming you are talking about CDO 1.21 you can mark an item as read by
setting its .Unread property as described in the documentation.
But due to a design limitation of Exchange Server (any version) this
will only mark the item as read for the user who logged on to the
mailbox in question.
That means, there is to the best of my knowledge no way to mark a
message as read for all users programmatically.
