Did you also check what code page is selected on the client computer and
what language is selected in IE?

The code table and language settings match those of the other clients. For
now I'm sending the mail in Plain Text format only for this user (if user
= "..." then ...) but it's obvious that this is not the most clean
option... I'm still looking for an answer to this strange situation but
until now I haven't got a clue.
Thanks for the tip though, too bad it didn't work.
