Is there a thread on a CDONTS vs CDOSYS comparison anywhere?
Or would someone be able to a grief pros / cons?
TIA,
AF

Haven't seen one. Here are some facts:
CDONTS
- Only for legacy apps on Win.2k. No longer part of Win.XP & Win.NET
Server
- Can only do SMTP
- Can only submit to the local pickup of IIS 4/5 SMTP or Exchange 5.5
IMS
- Not MTS/COM+ tested
- Ships with NT4/IIS4 SMTP and higher
CDOSYS
- Ships only with Win.2k/Win.XP/Win.NET Server (no NT4/IIS4)
- Supports SMTP and NNTP
- Can submit to remote SMTP server of your choice (no Windows SMTP
required)
- Enhanced support for HTML (MHTML) messages and foreign character sets
- Supported in a COM+ environment
- Enhanced support for DSN (Delivery Status Notifications) & message
header.
I'm sure I missed something but I think those are the highlights.
