asp_components thread: How to logout from NT Authentication

Message #1 by "Ramesh Kandasamy" <rame10@y...> on Mon, 9 Sep 2002 20:46:28
Guys, we are running a website with NT Authentication security to access
the pages.

I like to place a "Log Out" button to log out the user from NT
Authentication with out closing the browser. So, if someone try to access
the page, it will popup the NT Authentication again.

Earliest reponse will be highly appriciated.

Thanks

Thanks for ur response.

Our site is, currently working on the same way u mentioned on the URL.

It works fine on Windows 2000 computers and XP. But, we are having
difficulties on NT computers.

We are getting the following error on NT computers.

"An error has occured copying COMCAT.DLL"
"Ensure that the location specified below is correct, or
change it and insert "(unknown)" in the drive you specify"
   "Copy files from c:\TEMP\IXP000.TMP"

Any idea. FYI, i excluded all the dll's when generating .CAB file. Do u
think that might cause this problem.

Thanks
