Hello!
My name is Paolo and i am a student studying ASP, sql server 2000 and vb com+ components.
I am looking for a place where i can upload my .asp/.dll files so i can test if my application really works.
Is there free webhosting on the net which offer sql server 2000 (i need it for my FOR XML stored procedures), vbcom dlls and asp?
sincerely,
paolog

There are plenty of hosts that provide free ASP and Access but you won't
find one that gives you SQL Server for free, or the ability to install
your own DLLs.

If you are developing COM+ objects, very few hosting companies will
install them if they aren't commercial quality (too much risk to the
server).
Also since there would be a lot of debugging involved, I wouldn't
suggest looking for a hosting company to do this unless you're ready to
pay them some serious money.
I'd suggest downloading MSDE, installing IIS, and doing this on your own
until everything is stable.
Just a few thoughts,
Rahul Singh
