Hey,
Okay, this may seem like a bit of a weird one, and some folk may think we're
doing it backwards, but we don't have much of a choice at the moment...
Here's the scenario.
FoxPro database sitting on a secure area of the network where only certain
people (accounting, network admins) have access to it.
I need to connect to that database and work with it.
Finally got the actual foxpro code working, but when I try and connect to
the share (using pointers and mapped drives and stuff) I get a
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'
[Microsoft][ODBC Visual FoxPro Driver]Cannot open file h:\data\conf.dbf.
error
I'm at a loss... any clues? I realise this may be a fairly involved
question, my email is jwright@t... for this project, if email is better
for you.
btw, the file is living at
http://server2.tacf.org/examples/vfpro/testconf.asp and there is a text
equivalent at http://server2.tacf.org/examples/vfpro/testconf.txt
