asp_database_setup thread: DLL Hell

Help , Ive fallen and I can't get up !
New to ASP I had IS build me a Windows 2000 server , everything
works fine except ADO connections. Even the samples using the
Authors.mdb won't connect. The repeated error is "Error in DLL" . I know
this is impossible to diagnose remotely , but if anyone could
suggest relevant checklists , components that should be installed etc and
any diagnostic tools I can run I would be grateful as I have run out of
ideas .....

Try to install mdac 2.6 files they can be found at:
http://www.microsoft.com/data/download.htm

Thanks for your help, thats done the trick.Now I can start programming
this stuff...
Sometimes I can't see the wood for the trees !
