Hi,

I've ASP running on http web browser installed on a Linux Machine. I've
Oracle 8i Database installed on the same machine. 
I'm trying to access Oracle 8i Database from an ASP page using ODBC.
But its giving an error saying that "Datasource Name not available or
Default driver not specified." When i contacted my Administrator, i found
that ODBC drivers will not be installed on Linux, by default, with the
installation of Oracle 8i on Linux. Instead i was asked to use JDBC thin
drivers for establishing a connectivity. How can i establish a connection by
using JDBC thin drivers in an ASP page?. Can somebody help me out with the
sample code. Do i need to do any installation of required software/drivers
in this regard?.
Your help in this regard is greatley appreciated.
