asp_database_setup thread: Hlp! How to connect remote db on Solaris with Windows ASP

I have been looking around for two days trying to solve this problem. I am
trying to create something that allows users to insert records into a
remote Oracle database that is on a Solaris platform from a Windows based
Web application. I know that there has to be certain configuration
changes on the Solaris server in order to talk to a Microsoft based
application, but I don't know what those server changes ought to be. Can
anyone point me in the direction of a resource?
It is my intention to create an ASP or JSP web page using InterDev that
will connect to the Oracle database and allow the user to insert new
records. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I believe you would need a IIS web server installed on the Solaris platform.
I think that ChiliSoft offers one.
