asp_databases thread: database error

Hi,
In my asp application,when i try to fetch about 100 records in a table in an
asp page,it is giving me the following error
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver's SQLAllocHandle on SQL_HANDLE_DBC
failed
,but when i retrieve about 10 records then it works fine.I am not able to
trace the problem.
Can anyone please help me .
