Hey all-



I'm making a asp page which automatically inserts users into a database and 

then uses that database for other operations. My web host does not have an 

ado constant file, and I was wondering if anybody out there knew where to 

get or had that file. If you could send it to me at "jsireland@j..." I 

would appreciate it.



Or else - does anybody have the constant value for these ADO Controls:



adOpenForwardOnly 

adLockOptimistic 

adCmdTable 

adOpenStatic 

adLockReadOnly 

adLockBatchOpen

Do a search on your hard disk for a file called:



adovbs.inc



which will have all these constants. If you want to make a smaller file, cut

and paste the ones you want into your own text file and include that.



Alternatively you can reference the typelib directly eg:



<!-- METADATA TYPE="TypeLib" FILE="C:\Program Files\Common

Files\system\ado\msado15.dll" -->



the above has to go on a single line.



Put that in your global.asa for example.
