Subject: Professional MTS and MSMQ with VB and ASP
I need some help. Right now I am working on MTS with
the help of a book from Wrox, Professional MTS & MSMQ
with VB and ASP. For working on MSMQ I require
WindowsNT machine with SQL Server 6.5 or later
installed and running. I have a system with Widows 98
running on it (with Pentium III Processor at 550 MHz,
4GB hard drive and 64MB Ram). Can you please suggest
me what to do in this case. I was thinking of buying a
separate Hard Disk and load Windows NT on that. I have
no idea about partitioning the drive. Now can you
tell me what kind of hard drive I need to buy like
4GB, 3GB etc in order to run Windows NT and SQL
Server? Also I would like to know where on the
internet i can get the details regarding partioning of
drive.
Thankyou
Sridvei.

you could go with Windows 2000, that way you don't need SQL Server 6.5...
MSMQ is built right into the Windows 2000 OS through Active Directory..
