asp_databases thread: Beginning ASP Databases - include statement to call a script?

Have your Beginning ASP Databases book .
Trying to use it to help set up a new site.
It is on a Windows 2000 server. I need an include statement to call a
script. But every time i put one on a page the server will not run the
page, It say i have an invalid include that I must use src= to reference
the script but when I try that the page creates but the data is not not
there as the script did not run as it was supposed to.
Any solutions to help me???
