Any Ideas on resolving this error?
HTTP 500.100 - Internal Server Error - ASP error
Internet Information Services
Technical Information (for support personnel)
Error Type:
Microsoft JET Database Engine (0x80040E09)
Cannot update. Database or object is read-only.
/_fredifl/CSFormProcess.asp, line 32
Everything was working fine until I upgraded to IIS 5.
I've reinstalled the Driver, checked that the files and folders aren't
read-only, and I believe I have the right permissions in IIS.
Any help or tech articles is appreciated.
Thanks
Mitch

can you log in as the network administrator and then try to edit? do you
have permissions in the wwwroot directory on the server?

Yes. I've done this and set all the appropriate permissions.
Any other ideas?
Thanks for the help.

I initially had the same problems with an Access 2000 database. The issu

e is that you have to make sure that the IUSR_MachineName account has wri

te access to the database.

You say "you have set the appropriate permissions" - but the error shows
that you are having a permissions problem.
What, pray, are the permissions that you set (in particular for the
IUSR_<machinename> account)?
Cheers
Ken
