I've migrated our Intranet to Windows 2000 - and big
problems have arisen!
We had many databases powering the intranet and most of them
are date related. We use dates in European format of
dd/mm/yyyy - which worked fine under Windows NT 4.
Since moving to Windows 2000, the dates are getting
reversed. When you open the Access File, the dates are in
dd/mm/yy format - as they should be. However, in order to
obtain details from our diary database for the 12th of
March, you have to enter 03/12/01 - which is not right.
Entering the 19th of March, 19/03/01 works fine. It's as if
the server is flipping the date if possible.
I've checked regional settings and it's in the correct
format for us - in the UK.
PLEASE HELP! This is driving me up the wall, and I cannot
see what needs altering. Why should it be different in
Win2000/IIS5.0 vs WindowsNT4/IIS4.0
Regards,
Craig.
