I have a website is running on a Windows 2000 using ASP and Microsoft 

Access database.

 

The problem we face is that everytime the database is amended using ASP, 

the information that has been changed will restore itself to the original 

status. This causes a problem since certain important data that needs to 

be updated will automatically change back to the previous data. We have 

tried placing the database in different folders as well but we're still 

facing the same problem.

 

EXAMPLE: When a registered user changes personal information, such as 

name, through the website (e.g. from John to Johnny), the new name 

(Johnny) restores itself back to the old name (John) after one day 

(sometimes after a longer period). 

 

I would appreciate it if somebody could attend to this matter as soon as 

possible.
