asp_databases thread: paging with 2 joining tables using recordset

i looked through many sites which provide codes on paging using recordset
but when i tried to change the SQL statement by joining 2 tables i got the
following message.
Error Type:
ADODB.Recordset (0x800A0BB9)
Arguments are of the wrong type, are out of acceptable range, or are in
conflict with one another.
