Hi,

I am using windows NT and Option Pack 4.0 I want to

make an autorespond email page in ASP.For that I need

to install CDONTS.

Can any one tell me how to install CDONTS in win NT.

With the option pack 4.0 it comes with the Smtp , install this component 

fom the setup. then after u have installed it u will have to go to the 

Internet Sevice manager and from there u will see Default SMTP right click 

on this and go to properties and then set the incoming connections to a 

free port other than the normal port 25 eg 2525.(if u are using a firewall 

make sure u have set the port to accept to the server) leave the outgoing 

connections as 25. After u have done this restart the service try out your 

Cdonts mail, it should work perfectly.
