asp_databases thread: connecting to SAP database

Is there a way to connect to an SAP database, and if so what's the
connection like, and are all the recordsets and commands already set
still going to work?

Depends on the platform you are running. SAP here runs on an AS400. I
can connect to it and query against SAP tables as long as you know the
structure. I use tables such as KNA1, LFA1, CSKS, EKKO and EBAN for
alerts to users.
