Amne: [asp_databases] HELP ! - Syncronizing access database

Hi, all !!!

Is it possible to have an Access database locally and then synchronize
it with another Access database residing on a web server...?

I have a scenario where a client makes all the changes locally (on his
pc) and then wants to synchronize the changed records with the database
on the web server.

Is this possible? And if so, how?

The only way I can think of is installing pws or iis on client machine
and create a set of ASP pages to delete remote set of tables and then
copy it again. Is there a better way?

Thank you all.

Hi, Hakan !!

I have looked up...

The problem is as follow:

1 - I create a replica of my original database.
2 - I upload the replica to the web server.
3 - I choose "Synchronize now", using Access "Tools -
Replication" menu.
4 - I browse to my the web server network place.
5 - I enter the user and password to gain access to the web
server.
	6 - I select the replica I uploaded on step 2.
4 - I always get the same "Invalid HTTP address"

Any thoughts?

Thanks !
