asp_discuss thread: Personal Web Server doesn't work

I have installed the Personal Web Server on my computer but it does not
appear to process the ASP code. Please help.

Have you set "Execute" permissions on your directory?

I don't remember the exact steps for PWS, but in the management tool where
your directories are defined there should be several checkboxes that you can
set different permissions on the directories with. You need to check
"Execute (including script)". It may just say "Execute". If this doesn't
work, you may have the version of PWS that doesn't support ASP.

I have mine set to scripted only and I do both asp and asp+
