I am an amateur VB6 programmer, about to write a subscription search 

engine site using the 3 layer architecture and code outlined in Matthew 

Reynold's excellent Ecommerce book. 



Before I start to write the presentation layer in ASP, I just wondered if 

perhaps most Microsoft-based web developers were now using webclasses 

instead - or has it never really caught on?



I know nothing about VB.NET, and even if this were the right way to go, I 

don't want to learn another technology at present!
