Please help with some very basic questions?



What are the main differences between asp and xml? I.e.,  how are they 

the same, how are they different? Some books on APS have chapters about 

XML, while others on XML have chapters about ASP?



What should one know in order to develope applications that can be run 

via the web?  APS, XML, VB, SQL, ETC???
