I just got Beginning ASP 3.0 from Wrox and realized
something: I am using WinXP Home Edition which does
not include IIS. I didn't know this until I got the
book...BUT I do have Visual Studio 6 and was wondering
if that book and all it teaches would apply to using
Viusal Interdev or would I have to get Beginning
InterDev instead? Is there any work around for my
situation other than going over to XP Pro ro Win2K?

I've not experimented with XP Home yet ... but ... does it include Personal
Web Server (you may have to install it) ... the older platforms had PWS as a
cutdown version of IIS (for personal use) ... it might be awkward (and
someone else will surely know more than me) - but PWS does support ASP pages
and if it is a part of XP, you should be able to at least test most of the
lessons and examples from the book.
