Has anyone come across any problems with licencing costs for CR 8.5



My company uses the activex plugin to serve reports in ASP pages. A simple 

bit of code in the page changes the formula selection criteria to provide 

dynamic reports.



According to a client we had in today Crystal Decisions have just 

increased their licensing charges from about £1000 to £35,000 per year for 

them.



I agree that software companies need to make money but seems a little 

steep.



Anyone else come across anything?
