asp_discuss thread: What determines format of email in IE?

I want to use InternetExplorer's email icon on the toolbar to email the
current web page. However, sometimes it's emailed as an html file (what I
want) and sometimes it's mailed as a text file (what I don't want).
Does anyone know what determines the format. Is there a way to control
this?
Thanks,
DL

It's determined by the settings of the client email package.
I'm using Outlook 2000, which sends pages as they are (HTML), but if I go
into Outlook and set it to send plain text, then it sends just the text.
I don't know how to alter this through code though.
Regards
Craig.

Unfortunately, this still doesn't work.
Although the format is set to html the attached web page still has a txt
extention.
