hi there,

i am running MS Site Server 3.0 search server on NT 4.0 sp 5....

i want o use the default search pages for my site to have a search engine...

I defined a catalog in MMC and propagated the catalog.

If i use the default page on

../siteserver/admin/knowledge/search/rpsearch.asp?ct=Viafoon....without

replacing the file..a search is executed on the correct catalog displaying

the correct results!

BUT

if i cut and paste these asp pages to another directory, a search can be

executed but the only result i get is " no records found for the requested

query????"

anyone any idea????

by the way i enter the default pages through MMC, using browse on the search

page of the catalog( where it all functions well)

the same pages entered via mmc on internet information server, my

site/search/rpsearch.asp?ct=Viafoon...gives always an empty result!
