asp_web_howto thread: CDONTS

Message #1 by Raman Verma <f741r@u...> on Wed, 29 Aug 2001 13:29:04 -0300
Hello

I am trying to use CDONTs to send mail via IIS. This is my problem.

I had it running fine on my win2k localhost acting as a server. All email

would be delivered, in and out of the corporation. However, I moved it to a

NT4 Server machine running IIS4 and only local emails can be sent(within

corporation) and will not go outside.

Anywone ever conquer this problem before?

Thanks

Raman

Are both servers using the same DNS server(s)?

Did you type in smart host in SMP Service configuration? If you are not

using smart host, is your machine configured to use DNS servers and does

it have its own FQ domain?
