I couldn't make the sample email send included in ASPMail 4.  Does it  

has something to do because I use Personal WebServer?  At first im doing 

it on a workstation but got operation timeout error so i decided to have 

it on the webserver but still the same error is show.  How could I make 

this run?  Whats the most easiest way to fix this? Thanks

check if you have registered the component, plus also check if your smtp 

addressings are write and teh settings are correct.

i have registered it the problem is i operation time out i think its 

about the smtp. but I can send my email from my computer using Outlook 

Express.  If Outlook Express can send then why ASPMail cant detect the 

smtp server

its definately with the smtp then.. i really dont know what to suggest.. you

needto ask your hosting company to provide exact detail.. secondly if you

site is www.dd.com and you need to use smtp related to dd.com only plus the

smtp must be configured on to your hostting company's web server because the

page will sit there and not on your local machine.

to add to it if you website is on dd.com you you are using smtp address of

ff.com i think it will not work.
