Hi,

    I'm currently doing conversion of a VB project to ASP and need to 

deploy the reports section (done in Crystal reports) onto the web. Can 

someone please give me advice as to what reporting program I can use for 

the web. I'd like to choose between Crystal Reports and data Reports, 

but I dont know much abt reports on the web.

I would also appreciate information on this subject or links etc.

Sorry for jumping into the loop. I don't the answer for your question.

However, I 'm curious about why company always like to convert VB project

to ASP?



I know using the ASP they can put the application over the web. However, if

the application is just for a company internal use, then by putting the VB

executable in a common directory would do the same job as putting it on

intranet web site.



There must be some reasons for that:

performance?

license fee?

# of user limitation?

???



Hope someone can give me a hint.
