Can anyone give me an example of some ASP code which would execute a
Crystal Reports report and pass a single parameter?

they have a few entries for downloadable ASP samples (haven't looked at
the actual files myself but they're quite large 1MB+ so there's a good
chance they've got what you need).

I have tried the samples downloaded. Unfortunately I can't see any reports
from the browser. I decided to try installing Crystal Enterprise. It
works! I like to find out whether is Crystal Enterprise really needed to
integrate ASP with Crystal Reports 8.5.
