I am kind of new to this but here is my question.
I created an ASP application with global.asa in a root directory and some
subdirectories underneath. No problem.
But now I have to create an application out of some existing directories,
all of which are on the same "level", meaning there is no real root
directory. Other than creating a root directory and putting all these
under it, is there a way that I can have an application where all
directories are on the same level and if so where would the global.asa go
and how would it know which directories are in the application?
Thank you!

No - you have to group them together within one overall directory if you
want them to use the same global.asa
