Hi,
Would anyone tell me the difference amongst SQL Server, SQL server Agent
and Distributed Transaction Coordinator on SQL Server Services Manager?
I select SQL Server for my intranet web site. When would be the time for
selecting SQL Server Agent? Is it for Administration? Is it OK to run the
SQL ServerAgent service for an intranet web site? Would it then affect the
server performance?
Thanks
William

Start | Progam Files | Microsoft SQL Server | Books Online
SQL Server Architecture | Relational Database Components | Server Components
| SQL Server Agent Service and MS DTC service are explained.
Cheers
