asp_web_howto thread: News Management

Message #1 by "Craig Flannigan" <ckf@k...> on Mon, 28 Jan 2002 09:25:51 -0000
Hi,

I'm running our company's intranet which constantly gets a lot of news items

to put up.

I wanted initially to use a database to allow users to cut and paste new

items into text fields which then automatically display the news on the

homepage.

However, more and more of these articles now have tables and a few graphics

in them. How do I overcome this? I don't want to give the users full access

to the server with a web package, but at the same time, the database idea

doesn't offer them all that much functionality.

I know they could paste HTML code, but most of them wouldn't know what that

is either!

Any ideas anyone?!

Regards

Craig.
