Hi all
Please take it easy with me as I am a beginner.
I have IIS installed on win2k server
I got another PC that I am using as client connected to the server
using Ethernet cards and a local area connection.
There is a share in My-server MySd and it is also virtual as mysites.
In My Network Places I can see both PC's ok in both PC's and the share as well.
I can browse asp pages on the server using the server's browser.
How can I do that from the client's browser?
If using the clients browser I type http://My-server/mysites/etc ..
it fires the the dial-up connection to the internet.
Is there any other kind of connection I have to set up to avoid using the
internet?
Please take a moment to help me with that.
Thank you for your time
Best regards
Nikos

You have to change you configuration on your client machine.
I think you need to disable option of "Dial automatically".
Oleg.

Yes, right click on the Internet Explorer icon, pick properties, then
hit the Connections tab
