This is really off topic:
a) WinNT you can only format a partition up to 4GB during text mode install.
This is because the bootstrap loader files need to be in areas that are
addressable by the file system
b) Win2k/XP use a different method of addressing files (including the boot
strap loaders) on partitions greater than 4GB. WinNT also supports this if
you have SP4 or later - the problem is that you can't install SP4 during the
text mode setup of WinNT :-)
If you want to use a Win2k CD to create a partition greater than 4GB, you
will have to boot off the CD. Do not run setup from within WindowsNT. You
will have to delete the existing partitions, create a new partition of the
size you want, and format it.
Cheers
Ken

Oleg,
I've tried to format my other PC using win2000 but it seems the
wizard didn't come up with the format option :( and I have no choice but to
just upgrade my existing OS.
Thanks by they way!!!
