Hi,

 

I am looking to write a shopping cart site for a client and am wondering

about how to accept payment.

 

I have looked at the Payment Service Provider option such as Worldpay but am

wondering if there are any alternatives for accepting credit cards.

 

Are there any payment components available that provide the same kind of

functionality as a PSP.

 

i.e. validating a credit card and transferring payment between accounts etc.

 

Has anyone used one of these and if so what did they think?

I just started using www.epx.com for one of my

customers.



They don't provide the shopping cart.  I had to write

that myself.  But they handle all ACH and Credit Card

processing.  They do everything in-house, so only 1

place to call if there's ANY problems.  And they have

a real time reporting system.
