asp_web_howto thread: Determine Image Height and Width

Message #1 by "Eric Levine" <eric@d...> on Mon, 15 Apr 2002 11:04:51 -0400
This is a multi-part message in MIME format.

Good afternoon,

I am hoping someone could help me. I need to be able to dynamically
determine an Image's Height and Width for use in a pop-up box. Could
someone please give me some direction as to whether or not this is
possible in ASP without using a third-party component?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Eric

Gerhard,

Thank you for the link. maybe I am missing something but running the
script with the Test Harness included with the file does not yield any
results. This is despite the fact that there are graphics files
included in the root of C:\. Any thoughts? Have you gotten this script
to work?

Regards,

Eric

Yes, it runs without problems on my testserver. Are you getting any
error messages?
Be sure that the IUSR_<machinename> has at least read rights on the
folder containing the images.

Gerhard,

Thank you for your reply once again. I wasn't getting any errors,
simply a blank page. I did some manipulation of the code and managed to
get the data I was looking for.

Thanks again.

Eric
