asp_web_howto thread: count number of files using vb script

Hi,
Please tell me the how to do the following using vb script:
to count the number of files in folders(including subfolders) in D drive
of the computer. my program is not giving me the correct result. urgent
help requested.

Don't know what program you are using! If you aren't using File
System Objects, take a look at them. You can use the various
methods to count files.

i am using file system object...but not getting the
result...
do you know how do get inside the subfolders and count
the file...
we dont know how many folders and subfolders are
there..
can we use loops and counter to do this??

Look at the Folder object of the FSO. There is a SubFolder
collection. You will have to recurse through the subfolders of
each folder, etc.
